So. Honest, sometime soon I'll post an update with pictures of Jamaica and all the stuff we got to do... but here's a short summary of some of it. I'm leaving out some of the really entertaining stuff so you have to read the next one...

Ziplining was cool. I'm still terribly, ridiculously uncool with heights. Heights combined with AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-holy-shit-don't-hit-a-tree is even more nerve-wrackingly-awesome. It's tropical jungle/forest, though, so midway through when they said "so, you're 280 feet in the air" I was cool with it, somehow, until right then.

(the "wow, it's really high right here" thought is okay until you have an actual quantity of feet-in-the-air that you are...)

The ocean was MAGNIFICENT. if we win the lottery, I can see spending a lot of time someplace like that. Any time I could I was out on the balcony looking at the ocean. Unreal. makes me smile thinking about it...

The accents were... what I expected, in a way, and what I didn't, in a way. There's a crazy amount of slang, and there's a way that the locals talk to each other that's technically English, but totally unintelligible to me, except for random words. It'd be all "a;slkdfja;lksdj;lad;lakds;klj four-thirty ;lkasjd;alksjdf;lkajds" when they were talking. seriously. Weird stuff.

Anyway. Yes, it was awesome. Yes, you should go.
